Short and Sweet in 10 bullets:

  • Young mum of 2 boys
  • Spoke 5 languages
  • Now speak 2 (Swahili and English)
  • Live in London
  • Introvert
  • Can’t swim, not confidently anyway (hoping to change this very soon)
  • Have a sister that people mistake as myself or my twin when we are together
  • My dream career- Interior design but keeps changing, lol
  • One of my main ambitions- to be financially free and quit being an employee
  • A BIG OPTIMIST- told everyone at school when I was 15 that I would own a private Island by 35 and get everyone a plane ticket to come visit, still believing

    Lol nice change from the usual “about me” section… which by the way is the hardest post I ever had to do.
    By the way you mentioned you only speak 2 of the 5 languages now, I’m curious about what happened to the other three πŸ™‚

      Ahh, I was waiting for the first person to ask me this. You’d want to know wouldn’t you. My parents separated when I was 10 and we lost all contact with my father’s side. He was Indian and mum is from Tanzania. so from that point on we were brought up with the Swahili influence. My sister and I resented our dad so much for the things he had done that we refused to have anything to do with him, including his culture so we never spoke to each other in any of the Indian languages (despite my mum’s encouragement). After a few years we realised we couldn’t understand or remember anything. We do regret it but we were kids and didn’t know better.
